Exploration and the role of colours are essential in my weaving. I am preoccupied by the mutual impact of materials; I experiment with both natural – and artificial materials.

On my journeys I am focused on making new designs of the materials that grow on site where I teach.

I work with two aspects – partly functional baskets – they give me peace and balance, and partly a more fabulating and challenging basketry, which demands the courage to go with the the flow. Whatever I do, presence is necessary, and therefore the weave is a great gift.
