Between the lines
The exhibition consisted of a group project, individual works and a work of the guest exhibitor Britt Smellvaer.
The group project was 8 big pictures, 2,25 m. x 3,60 m. Each picture consisted off 30-40 frames in 2 sizes. Each picture had a theme like lines, knots, woven surface, a poem etc., all members contributed with frames to each picture. The challenge in this project was primarily to work with the surface within the given theme, while creating a whole with all the other frames.
The title refers to our work with the frames, structures and lines, but also to the creativity, challenges and inspiration which constantly appears in between the members of the group.
The exhibition was also put up in Kunstparken, Risoer, Norway.
